This shampoo bar is fragranced with lemon, lavender and Tea Tree essential oils, a fantastic combination when tackling greasy hair.
Our shampoo bars for greasy hair have a reduced oil and butter content to make sure you're not adding extra oil to your hair. Some oil and butter is important to prevent stripping your hair and triggering excess oil production. Argan oil has been chosen as the oil in these bars due to its great benefits for hair and its very light nature, helping to protect and nourish your hair without weighing it down.
Liquid silk acts as a natural humectant to hydrate and condition, keeping moisture locked in and harsh conditions out, leaving hair protected and well-nourished as well as giving it a lasting shine.
Panthenol B5 is also added to further nourish, protect and add shine to the hair.
Purple clay helps absorb any excess oils that your hair produces, giving a great clean.
Each bar weighs a minimum of 70g and should last for at least 60 - 70 washes.
Balance Shampoo Bar
All of our shampoo bars are packed in environmentally friendly packaging. The bar is wrapped in NatureFlex™, a cellulose packaging derived from wood pulp, sourced from responsibly-managed forests.
You may be curious whether NatureFlex is compostable or biodegradable. Both, in fact biodegradation is one aspect of compostability. Biodegradable simply means that an item will break down over time as a result of natural processes, but does not account for time or manner of degradation. To be certified compostable, the product must break down into water, CO2, and biomass at a rate consistent with other biomaterials. Also, there must be no negative chemical effects on the final compost, which is ensured through eco-toxicity testing. In the UK and Europe, this is tested to standard BS EN13432 for industrial settings.
Our Natureflex packaging is TUV certified for home & Industrial compostability and meets the EU standard EN13432 for industrial compostability.
When you have finished with your packaging simply add it to your home compost if you have it. Some waste collections will accept Natureflex in home recycling food waste bins (please check in your area). If you do not have any of these options please place in your household waste, not your recycling bin (it contains no plastic) where it will biodegrade harmlessly.
